You have a wiring problem, remove the radio on the original car wiringloom you should have a grey wire with a yellow trace. that wire needs to be disconnected from the radio and the black wire with green trace should be connected in its place

sounds like you may need to rewire the radio. I can help with this but will need to know if the wires were cut and taped together or are they using a harness. that plugs into the car. The way you will know is that the harness will match the wires on the aftermarket radio for example red black, yellow puple, purple with balck etc.
