What are the compute codes 24 and 34 on a 1988 Dodge Daytona

Hello
Welcome
Code 24 is Throttle Position Sensor,

This is locared on the right side of the throtle body accross from the throtle linkage there is 2 torx screws holding in place and one wire end to disconect install reverse from instructions

code 34 Speed Control Servo Circuit. No check engine light will post.
Your cruse control servo is not turning on and off like it should.
I would do the tps first then disconect the batery for 5 minn then re check the car for codes, the tps might be messing with the speed control servo.
Let me know if i can help more!

I have a 1988 dodge daytona 2.2l turbo w/o intercooler, 5 speed manual. car ran fine, then started to over heat, shut off on a me a few times-just died. then would start back up and go a bit more, then...

If the engine was ran that much after overheating, you probably warped the head.

The crank sensor may also have been damaged by heat and need to be replaced. Check the spark plugs as well for cracked insulators or worn (read melted) tips.

Car starts then shuts down as if no power

In year /model 87, code 23 was oxygen sensor stuck in full rich position. I'd be tempted to try a new one.

1988 Daytona turbo sputtered and died while driving, wont start

try reseting your computer by removing the positive cable for 45 secs then connect cable, if this does not work call a parts store they should tell you
