Door not locked but handle broke off, car is

It is located on the instrument panel fuse block. If you open the passenger door, there should be a removable panel on that side of the dashboard. In that fuse block, in position number 7, is the door lock relay.

there should be a couple star bit bolts on inside of door behind the handle

Check the turn sigbal flasher: Here isthe location....under dash close to brake peddle...

try a junk yard that is the best place for this kind of stuff

i have the same problem on my 1995 grand prix gtp 2 door coupe...the only differnce is that i had door poppers installed and took off the lock rod, turnes out the solenionds cant pull the latch open, so i need stronger solenoids. but my door wont open either...if anyone has any fixes to this problem let me knows ASAP!! i cant crawl thru the passenger side in the middle of a S. Dak. winter...

there are to rods one for the lock and one for the handle pull the handle rod if it is exposed pull on it / The only way to replace the handle and or lock is to take the door apart/ please rate my response thank you very much

get in the car anyway possible, you probrally cant open the door from the inside either. Your gonna have to reef the door panel off and reach inside towards the post where the door latches to, and play with it and unlock it by hand. what it is is the spring loaded locking part in the assembly rust out and wears out so that the door wont unlock. I have the same problem with my car i disconnected the power locks in my car cause when people want to roll the window down they accidentally push the lock button. then im stuck entering and exiting out of the passenger door untill i play with it and unlock it. so me and you are gonna have to replace the latch assembly from inside the door.

The SE and LE indicate opinions on the cars. Most of the parts will interchange. When doing engine changes, the best way is to swap the ECM also.
