Take the fan and test it with a 12 volt battery to see if it works. The motor body is the ground and the electrical connector is the positive. If it works the relay is more than likey bad instead for the heater motor

While you have the fan out, connect the positive lead and negative lead to the battery. If it powers up, then your problem is most likely the switch or resistor.

Interior fan quit working on my 2003 lx honda civic. Where is the fuse box for this and what number would it be.

The fusebox should be under the dashboard on the far left side. you might have to remove a small cover to access the fuses. On the fuse cover, there will be a small diagram, and it will tell you what each fuse is. The owners manual should show you the exact location of the fusebox if it is not under the left side of the dash.
Hope this helps;
Matt

Brake lights have gone on my honda civic 1.5i 1995. I have located fuse box but it doesn't say which one covers the brake lights!

Hi there,

The fusebox lid/cover usually has the fuse layout inscribed on the reverse side - look for location of fuse, labelled TAIL or BRAKE lights.

Cheers,

99 honda civic lx, my fans are'nt turning? Could this be a fuse??

Do you mean radiator fans or heater fans?

If radiator fans, they don't work all the time, but only when it gets too hot. When the car is not moving, they will usually go on eventually. But in normal speeds, you don't need fans.

If there is a problem, it is usually the relay, but could be the ground, one of two fuses, or the temperature sensor. The main fuse is a big one, because they draw more electricity then anything else. The switch is usually in the radiator, and powers the relay primary from a small fuse. The relay secondary then goes from the large fuse to the fan, and back through ground.

Let me know if you mean the heater fan.
