If the website does't get your headlight fixed... You might have a blown fuse. It could be in the IPDM E/R location under the hood. This is next to the coolant bottle. Remove the coolant bottle with two screws and lift the cover to the IPDM E/R. Just set the coolant bottle aside for now. The low beam fuses are 49 and 50. They are 15A fuses. To be more precise, they are located on row 2, columns 2 and 3 (column 1 being closest to the fender of the car). Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Replace headlight

Remove coolant overflow bottle and windshield washer bottle neck (by turning neck counterclockwise about 3/4 inch and pulling up on it). That will open up the light bulb area. Nissan has a headlamp campaign, where bulbs get replaced for free to you and in some cases the whole headlamp gets replaced, bacause of the plastic falling apart, where bulb sits. Check with your dealer if the campaign is open on you vehicle. FREE

SOURCE: How do I change the passenger side headlight bulb on 2001 Altima

Open up the hood, and go in behind the fixture where the light is located. Sometimes there is an access panel on top. Open it and reach down inside and grab the bulb’s socket. Twist the socket a quarter turn counter clockwise, and pull out the socket. Grab the bulb, and pull it straight out. To replace the new bulb, never touch it with your bare fingers, as this will greatly shorten the bulb's life, if it even work's at all. Use a tissue or something else in that order to handle the new bulb. Push the new bulb into the socket, put the socket back into the housing, and twist a quarter turn clockwise to secure the socket into the fix.Seems that you have to remove the coolant bottle(two screws), and also the unscrew the washer fluid bottle, after that you can reach the socket that holds the bulb. There is a wire that holds the bulb in. if you loosen the screw you can tip up the wire and be careful to leave it in place...also the long side of the wire seems to connect to ground wire for the light...

My car 2003 altima I need change light bulb. need know how to remove head light to change the bulb.

You don't have to remove the headlight to change the bulb. The bulb can be removed from the back of the headlight, usually by turning the bezel ring that holds the bulb onto the headlight housing. Just make sure you do not touch the glass part of the bulb while replacing it or it will burn out again fast.

Passenger side head light

glad you asked , its like a saftey pin , you push in on the lower side of that paper clip looking device , as you push in , move it side ways to the left or the right , depending on how your looking at it , its real dumb , just like a saftey pin . by the way there is a recall on the 2002 , 2003 altima headlights , if you see burnt connectors , or crumbly plastic were the actual bulb inserts into the light assembly , take it to nissan , under the headlight campaign , more often they will replace both headlight assemblies , all nice and new and clear . 2 thumbs up !

No low beam head lights

If you just want to replace the bulb yourself, this is a good website.
