Need to know what to tighten head bolts to on 1992 saturn sl1

The head bolts are t.t.y.
that means Torque To Yield.
the bolts must be tightened down to a set point, then tightened to a set degree point.
You must find this specific number for your engine......don't put it on until you have these numbers !!!

Get a HAYNES or CHILTON manual. Is has all tghe steps and tightening torque values. The usual tightening sequence is to start at the center bolt, follow with the center one opposite to it, then follow an spiral going out until you reach the last bolt. As usual, you need to do it in three steps, with a decent torque wrench.

under the car, you press the plastic tangs and pull the hose out

simply unbolt the trans pan under the trans and the oil falls to the ground... clean the pan with clean rag. get all old gasket off.. place new gasket in and bolt the pan back into place. tighten the bolts to around 7 lbs. do not over tighten the bolt, you could strip the threds. put new trans fluid in through the dip stick hole that you check the level.

get the crank screw and shorten the temper

sounds like head gasket, or clogged cat converter.

Rocker arm shaft to head torque is 19Ft-lbs

the bolt hole pattern on a 92 is a 4 lug pattern and a 2004 is a 5 hole pattern. they will not fit.
