My truck will not start just cranks but will not fire

I think you mean 'crank no start. Cranking is 'turning over', idling is when it has fired and stays running.

So it really depends if it doesn't fire at all, or it is starts and dies out?

Not If the battery is fully charged, Check out the fuel pressure and ignition system.If the battery is below 10 volts when cranking it may not start.

Not FIRING ??????? Does it have spark , fuel pressure ? When turning the key to start , does the engine spin ? A crank - no start condition . Or no crank - no start ?

gee if it can NOT crank then it can not start (will mine can by push started or gravity started) 6speed M/T (grin)
on all modern trucks, like we do this.
1: fuses all good
2::no crank we jumper cable jump crank it, first as all tow truck driver do. (as seen by AAA autoclub, tow service) watch them.
3: battery not dead.,charge it or have the shop load test it. or the lugs are loose and green with rust, clean them.
4: alternator not dead, well jump start it and runs but battery voltage is not 11v to 15vdc running so the ALT is dead or its HUGE 100amp fuse blown.
5:PRNDL dead, shift to N and cranking ,if good, P switch is bad.
the users manual shows how to crank it in Neutral using the brake pedal (keyon, step on brake, shift to N)
top fail is corroded battery lugs for 100 years. counting.
or left on head lamps even tie.

See if your getting spark,If not its probably the crank or cam sensor.

Have you checked cam timing?If it has jumped a tooth or two it will not start.

need more info is it getting fire getting gas remove he air filter and drop some gas down the carb if it starts then it is in the fuelsystem if not check your plugs that they aer fireing rember gas fire timeing and compreshion

I parked my 04 sienna and cut it off 2 hrs latter I tried to start it and would not crank starter was fried replaced with new one now it crank but will not start I tried starting fluid same thing cecked fire to plugs fire once and quit until you turn key agin fire once agin replaced cam and crank senser no start what am I missing anyone thank ,lost..

Check the fuel line pressure it may be low should be 55lbs
