Front wipers stopped working

There may be a relay under the hood.
Be advised, many cars & trucks, in particular Ford, had problems with wiper motors and window winder motors. I had thought their problems were remedied by 2011, but perhaps not.
If you cannot get this fixed quickly, try the "Rain-ex" products, those will keep you windshield clear until you get the wipers working.
God bless your efforts.

I have checked the wind shield wipers motor to try to find out what is shorting out the fuse. Where could the short be located that is causing the wiper fuse to blow?

You need to isolate the problem by disconnecting the windshield wiper motor. If the fuse does not blow with the wiper motor disconnected the problem is in the windshield wiper motor. If the fuse still blows with the motor disconnected, there is a 12 volt wire shorted to the frame. You will most likely need a set of wiring schematics to trace down the short.

My wind shield whippers do not work, whats wrong with it?

Chech the Fuses, wiper motor, and on/off switch (all need to be checked out) on/off swith can wear thin and no longer make contact inside the switch and wiper blades need to be in good working condition. Refer to you owners manual in the glove box for info on fuses, their relations to other systems and locations in the fuse box.

Toyota 4runner gate window, wiper, and keyless entry not working

make sure the back window is all the way up then try the wiper, if it still does not work then it is a sensor for the rear window (about $30.00) if you installed it yourself

Wind shield wipers stop in center of window

Sounds like a linkage (wiper transmission) problem. But, put an external ground wire to the wiper motor first and see if they work then.
Also many wipers have a fastening nut on the wiper arm where it attaches to the stub that goes through the body. These may have loosened and gone out of adjustment. If so, loosen them and re-position arms, then tighten them down.
