Trying to determine accurate trailer towing capacity for my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4X4 with 5.7 liter Hemi V8, Auto transmission, towing package, 3:92 axle ratios and 20'' alloy rims

From the information that i have been able to gather your maximum towing capacity is 85-8900lbs. You should always check your owners manual or with the manufacturer for towing capacities.

The problem may be related to technical service bulletin TSB 03-001-07 which involves replacing the front axle actuator disconnect and a software update. You should be able to Google the TSB and look at the build date listed in the bulletin to determine if it applies to your vehicle.
Did you find that fuse under dash or hood.Sometimes there's one under hood, or dash that may be labeled aux power or something like that. Also, did you check it with key on and vehicle started as well? Can you not wire jack to battery on front of trailer or don't have battery there?
according to the owners amnual the max towing weight for a 1999 ram 1500 quad cab wit automatic transmission is 7600 lb.
with either 5.2 or 5.9 v8. for a reg cab it is 8000 lb.
