My 93 camry 4 cylnder runs for about 15 minutes and then just shuts off,and when you try to crank it, it just turns over. Then after sitting for about 30 minuts it cranks again and repeats the whole process again. It does not matter if your driving or just letting the car idle. This just started a few days ago. When the car is idling it runs smooth and then just dies. I just dont understand. I have changed the fuel pump & filter and I had spark plugs, wires, timing belt and a distributor put on less than a year ago. I dont know of this is related but for the past couple of months when I was driving and let off the gas the car jerked or skipped just a little. Can anyone please help?

Had a similar problem on a 1992 tercel. Hard to find but when checking sparkplugs accidentally found that one of the spark plug cables was internally damaged. Thus the full electrical energy was not being delivered to the spark plug. Upon replacing the distributor cap with all the sparkplug cables, the engine picked up idle speed and run smooth again.

check the air flow meter it is the sensor on the air filter cover just before the air tube

EFI= to Electronic Fuel Injection. If you have sparks, check for fuel delivery. Another is the electronic module on your distributor, but you already said you have spark and hopefuly the right "timming" too. So you checked the current and is OK, what else do we have.The computer? Remeber that Camry,is the cadillac of the Toyota. Some even have Lexus parts. So expect parts to be rather expensive!.

If all OK then motor probably got some **** on the brush gear get sombody to help you, firmly apply hand brake.... ENSHURE IS IN NUTRAL OR PARK!
while they hold kek in crank position tap the starter motor with a hammer to free the crrap... that shuld do it!
