If all the lights on your dash seem to be off, the problem could be a bad fuse.
Locate the knob por dial that control the brightness of dashboard light.
Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problemas may be a bad fuse.
Use your car manual and locate the dash fuse the fuse box is between under the steering wheel and the door. Pull out the fuse and use a test light by connecting the groud clamp to the metal and placing the other end where the fuse was. If the light come on, you need to replace the fuse.
if everything is working and there is no engine lights on then it may just be the connection on the dash to the wiring or the rev counter has failed and just needs replacing, its usually the connections that go discoloured and loses connection and they just need a clean with some enrycloth. or switch cleaner.
Mist likely the dashboard fuse. Sometimes under the bonnet, sometimes in the dash. check you manual for location and the correct fuse.
Swap it for a spare of the same type. If you want to check, test the old one with a multimeter.
If the new one blows as well, you have a short somewhere in the dash and will need professional help!
