What is easiest way to change out headlight bulbs in 2004 Dodge Caravan

Remove the screw from the black tab on top of the headlamp assembly. Around the headlamp plug, there are 3 nuts, remove them carefully, as they are easily dropped and lost, remove the ring that secures the bulb to the assembly, it only turns a portion of a turn. Slide the entire headlight assembly partially out the front, then disconnect the rubber plug that contains the marker/turn signal bulbs. Re assemble in reverse order, making sure the headlight bulb is properly aligned or the ring will not tighten. Also,take care not to touch the headlight bulb glass, as the oil from your fingers may cause the bulb to break when it heats up. Hope this helps.

Take out the two 10 mm bolts on the top tabs. Take out the two 10 mm bolts that go through the radiator support to the lower rear of the headlight. slide the headlight out. unplug the bulb, untwist the lock ring on the bulb. wiggle the bulb out.

the headlights brake lights and tail lights are controlled by a body control module check the headlight switch first this is a common problem with these vehicles the head light switch usually burns up internally

1) open the hood.
2) Carefully remove the three screws holding the headlight assembly in place.
3) Carefully slide the headlight assembly out. At this point you can replace the headlight bulb, turn signal bulb, or the entire headlight assembly. To replace the headlight bulb turn the collar holding the bulb in counter clockwise. Pull the bulb out of the headlight assembly. Replace the bulb. Insert the bulb into the headlight assembly insert the collar and turn clockwise until it locks. (Do not touchglass with your fingers or it will cause the bulbs to catastrophically fail - clean with alcohol pad if you touch the glass)
4) Carefully insert the headlight assembly back into place.
5) Replace the three screws removed in step 2 being careful not to over tighten.

Open hood. Remove 3 bolt holding headlight housing. When housing is out, remove the retaining ring by twisting counterclockwise. Pull out bulb, replace. When installing the retaing ring make sure all 3 tabs go in there slots & under the ring

1. Unscrew the three screws that secure the headlight assembly to your Dodge Caravan. Put the screws in your pocket or another safe place, so you won't lose them before reinstalling the headlight assembly.
   
2. Pull the headlight assembly away from the front of the vehicle. Turn the bulb retaining ring counterclockwise to unlock the electrical connector. Remove the electrical connector from the bulb assembly by pulling it straight out.
   
3. Replace the old bulb with a new halogen headlight bulb. Connect the electrical connector and turn the bulb retaining ring clockwise to lock the bulb into place.
   
4. Reinstall the headlight assembly and secure the screws tightly before closing the hood. Turn on your Dodge Caravan, flip on the headlights and verify they're working properly.
   

Headlight Bulb Removal & Installation To Remove:

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the headlight assembly mounting screws.
3. Pull the assembly forward and disconnect the bulb connector.
4. Turn the bulb retainer ring counterclockwise and remove the bulb from the headlight assembly.

To Install:
NOTE: Do not handle the glass portion of the bulb with your bare fingers.

1. Install the bulb in the headlight assembly.
2. Install the retainer ring.
3. Connect the connector to the bulb.
4. Install the headlight assembly in the vehicle.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.

No special tools required.

remove the two 8mm screws on top of rad support and remove headlamp assembly..unplug connector and unlock bulb holder

remove the connector plug by pushing the tab and pull out. then there is a plastic circular clip that holds the bulb just turn it conterclockwise and remove the bulb. to reinstall reverse the steps.

I think on those the easiest way is to remove 4 or 5 screws from entire housing with hood up, and pull it right out.
