Fuel filter location on 1983 Mustang with the 3.8 v-6

The fuel filter in a carburated 1983 chevy S-10 is located inside the fuel inlet nut at the base of the carburator (closest to the firewall).

Probably on the frame rail 3/4 of the way back,jack up car & follow fuel lines till you find it .

For 1983 Ford Mustang 3.8L 2BL 6cyl the Fuel Filter is located: under hood, center, upper engine area, front of carburetor, mounted in fuel inlet line.

The fuel filter is located in front of the right rear tire along the fuel line. It looks cylindrical and will have a clip holding the fuel line on the filter.

It has a carb right. It is screwed into the carb. The fuel line is screwed to the filter.

as far as i know the fuel pump is located in the actual fuel tank. It'll probably be spring loaded so that it will keep itself in place as the tank flexes. They usually have some kind of a "bobber" on them that tells the PCM and/or a guage how much fuel you have.

set the idle and timing at spec. then while idleling there are 2 screws located at the front bottom of the carb these are the idle air fuel mixtures turn one at a time in till the car stats to die then back out 3/4 turn and repeat on the other one.

It is located on passenger side of vehicle near the wheel.

It's in the rear near the gas tank or along the driver side frame rail near the position of the driver door under the car.
