2002 Hyundai Sonata Mis-fire on cyl 3 and 3 other error codes.

OK, I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata V6. It has 214K miles and so far has had very few problems, mechanically. Afew weeks ago, I passed a car from stand still, after the sudden acceleration the engine started to miss. I replaced the plugs with no change. Took it to Auto Zone, an put it on the computer and found that a sensor on the intake manifold was faulty. As it fell apart in my hands we knew it was bad and replaced it. Still no improvement. Put it on the computer again and it comes up with Mis-fire on Cyl 3, and then P1505, and 1507 as error codes. As the car runs rough the miss fire is obvious. Where do I start to fix this.

Hyundai 2.7 P303, P306 at the same time

I would say its the coil. A crank or cam sensor could cause one cylinder to miss, or go completely dead, but I doubt it would affect two cylinders. And you would get a code for either sensor.

Firing Order for a 2002 Hyundai Sonata

Since the 4 cyl engine uses direct ignition, here is the info for the V6.
Standing in front of the car, the cylinders in front are 2-4-6 and the cylinders next to the firewall are 1-3-5.
The wires on the coil are 1-4-5-2-3-6. The actual firing order is 123456.

My Hyundai Sonata GLS, with 2.5 Liter 6 cyl.

You cannot, First thing you need to do is get the codes using a diagnostic scanner that is able to access the airbag module. Your basic code reader will not do this. The code will tell you what airbag has an issue. If your a smoker in the car most likley the ASH destroyed the clockspring under the steeing wheel.

Getting firing code error for cylinders 1,3 & 5 on my 1999 Sonata

I was wrong about the distributor being round (I was thinking about my other car). I found variations about the firing order but after troubbleshooting, varified the plug wiring order from the front of the car is 1 - 4 - 5 - 2 - 3 - 6 not 1 - 4 - 5 - 2 - 6 - 3 found on several web sites. From the front of the car looking at the engine, the back three cylinders by the firewall going from left to right are 1, 3, 5. The front three are 2, 4 & 6.
