A test light checking each connector would be faster and easier to do. Maybe somebody may have a illustration for you but by far a simple test light is all you need with a helper turning on the different lights as you check them out and writing all your findings down

How can i hook it up? I have a 4 wire trailer wiring diagram

I am really not sure what you are asking for, but guessing you need to add a trailer 4 wire plug. The best way is to see if they make a wiring T ! Then you find the wire connector for your tail lights. This T is made to fit between your wire connection! Easiest and best way to wire in trailer wires.

When wiring a trailer connector, it is best to wire by function, as wire colors can vary. We have an excellent wiring diagram on our website, I will provide you a link so you can look at it.

If you are looking at the inside of the trailer connector where the wires mount to the terminals starting at the notch at the top and working clockwise:

1:00 is Black and 12 volt power
3:00 is Green and Right Turn and Brake
5:00 is Blue and Brake Controller
7:00 is White and Ground
9:00 is Yellow and Left Turn and Brake
11:00 is Brown and Tail and Running Lights
Center is Purple and is Optional Reverse

I recommend using a circuit tester like part # 40376 to verify your connections.

Trailer light hook-up

We do not have the wiring diagrams. But here is the red neck method, use a 12 volt test light probe tool (any parts stores for $5) and as a friend operates each light circuit, probe the connector or harness and see what lights up, then mark the wire color and what it does, brake lights, turn signals etc.

I have tail lights on pu but none on trailer when hooked up i replaced the plug wired same as old one no trailer tail lights I have turn & stop lights I have checked the fuse and still no juice to plug...

if you have nothing to the receptacle on the truck but the tail and stop lights still work, look under the rear of the truck near the receptacle , there should be a connection in to the main wiring harness...maybe its unpluged, dirty or corroded

Factory 99 dodge trailer plug wiring

You'll need to disconnect the wires from either the truck connector or the trailer connector...
I highly suggest purchasing a voltage checker- it looks like a screwdriver with a pigtail of wire with an alligator clip on the end. The tip of the 'screwdriver' has a point for probing. The light in the probe will light up...makes it easy to trouble shoot without a helper behind the trailer.
Hook the aligator clip to a good positive grounding point on the bumper or frame(not painted).
then pin by pin on the truck connection, stick the probe on each terminal tab.. and write a simple diagram where you find brake, tail, backup, etc...
Then i'd suggest, taking the connector off of your trailer, exposing the wire ends.
Run again thru your diagram and turn on each light of the truck. As you do, touch the wires from the trailer to that specific terminal. (make sure your ground wire is attached on the trailer) you can mark each wire with a piece of tape and label it which is which.
then simply attach your trailer wires according to your diagram to the terminals in the connector... that should get you in business..
hope that makes sense...
That way if the factory wiring harness remains the same, you'll be able to use it with other trailers if the need arises..

Need wire diagram to hook up trailer lights, truck not factory equipped w/harness,

I'm assuming you're just going to splice into the tail light wiring so that's what these wire colors are:
at the tail lamp 3 way connector:
black and yellow = park lamp
dark green and brown = left turn signal
there should be another connector with violet and black wire for reverse lights.
the stop lights are turned on through the turn signal circuits.
