They usually come with the OEM type of flasher. But it can be removed and replaced it is a barrel type small gadget with a couple of plugs right underneath the dashboard. Be sure to get the same amp size or your flashers will click slower.

If you need more power for a trailer then fit a relay for either side indicator in the back of the vehicle

Replacing the turn signal flasher relay. I have installed LED bulbs and get the extremely fast turn signal flashes. I have a relay but can not find where to install it

If its flashing really fast and all lights on the circut are working you may need a heavy duty flasher as to location, depends on vehicle but they are usually close to the under dash fuse panel

Turn signals don't work. Checked fuses, OK, checked bulbs, OK. What next. 2003 Lincoln town car.

It sounds like you may have overloaded and burned out the flasher relay. On most cars, this is a small 2 or 3 pronged cylindrical unit. On some Fords I have encountered, it is way up under the dash and actually has a relay with other circuitry. Consult a specific auto manual for location and access if this is the case. In most cars the factory installed relay can not handle the load of the additional trailer lights and will cause them to flash irradically or fry the relay. There are heavy duty relays available for these applications

Where is the turn signal flasher located in a 96 Cadilac Eldorado

On 95-97 and possibly 1998, Chevy Blazers both the turn signal and hazard flashers are located behind the lower dashboard trim just to the left of the cigarette lighter. You can not get to it without taking apart the trim. Thank you for asking ChaCha please be sure to ask ChaCha another question again soon!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Directional signal

Replace the flasher module is what I'd do.
Turn signal flasher location Remove panel covering fuse box, next remove the screw holding the heater duct work extension, with the duct work removed you can reach the flasher box cover by reaching up under the dash, remove cover from the box, then remove the flasher, the heavy duty replacement flasher is "taller" and the cover will not fit over it, reverse to close

TURN SIGNAL FLASHER LOCATION FOR 1999 RAM 2500 HOW DO YOU REPLACE THE TURN SIGNAL FLASHER WITH THE HEAVY DUTY FLASHER #552 SO I CAN TOW A TRAILER

Hello Patty - Check the back side of the interior fuse box, should be between the steering column and the fuse box. You should be able to hear it "click" when in use. Most 2500 Rams had a flasher unit that was trailer ready. You may not need this upgrade. I hope this helps.

I added led tail lights to my charger, now the turn signal blink faster than normal, do I need a new flasher?

Yes, get a heavy duty flasher to replace the original. The same thing happens if you hook up a trailer w/ lights to a car, the original flasher can't handle the extra load.
