Head gasket repair requires stripping the entire motor down to the block, and replacing every gasket in your way down, as well as the head bolts (torque-to-yield).

the way the saturn timing components are ran i would not suggest this unless you are heavily mechanically inclined. theres alot of tedious tear down as well as torqueing to spec on the build back up.

if you have the time, patients and know how to do it i would say go ahead, but if you are hesitant i would get someone else to do it.

to finally answer ur question any hanes or mitchell repair manual will tell you how to dissasemble and reassamble your engine step by step.

I just bought a 1993 buick lasaber. drove it one time and found that i now have water in my motor. can this be repaired?

Check to see if it is only a bad head gasget. If you bought it from a dealer take it back.

Head gasget leak in oil

Do not run the car. If you overheat it , much more damage will result. Remove head(s) and replace the gasket. if it ran hot. You will experience more problems that will cost a lot more. I hope it did not run hot for long.

Had a diagnostic check done on my 2006 Saturn Vue and it pull up PO300 missing

If you continue to drive it the computer will eventually sort out exactly which cyl is misfiring then list another code showing the cyl that is missing. Otherwise have a competent repair shop with a good scan tool run the car with their scanner hooked up and they should be able to locate the cyl that is missing and what it needs.

1993 acura legend always smoke white from exhaust and temp gauge fluxuate from high to mid-range constantly

If it is excessive, your coolant may be going in the engine. Have the head gasket checked. Worst case could be a cracked head.

Blown head gasket. what is the cause? there is very high pressure in the radiator and eventually a lot of air and little coolant. it then starts over heating because all the coolant gets pushed out at the...

Running hot will cause head gasget to fail. Or if head is not torqued properly, or a faulty head gasget. Pressure in cooling system means, blown head gasget or cracked head.
