Is mayonnaise an instrument?

Mayonnaise is either a type of salad cream/dressing .. or the name given to oil and water on a dipstick due to a blown head gasket.

I guess you COULD play a tune on an empty mayonnaise bottle.

I was out of my car and it started raining that with flood and now I got water in my oil could it be From oil pan

No the oil pan is sealed, unless you had a major hole. But you would have also had a oil leak.Water in oil is a sign of either a intake gasket or head gasket leak.

Hi I'm female and have a toyota tazz 1999 model. The car started jerking as I drive, feels sluggish as well. Checked fuel filter but seems clean, no smoke, oil and water is fine(can it still be a gasket?)...

jerking can be from many things
1: brakes locked up. or bad.
2: engine jerks
3: transmission jerks.

sluggish, same,
find a shop any auto repair shop to tell you which of the 3 it is.
then post for help.

keep in mind, not one person here can drive your car. and see that.

Toyota sluggish

I always advise people to start with the cheapest solution and work towards more expensive things in situations like this. First thing I do when a car becomes sluggish is replace spark plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, and change the oil. that should fix your problems I don't think you have any major issues

My son found a small amount of oil in the hose between the manifold and the air filter. there was not any oil in the air filter is this a serious problem or expensive to fix? the car has a10030thou miles...

the small amount of oil found is just an oil mist from the manifold that is drawn up while the car is running.this is not uncommon and a small amount is nothing to be concerned.

96 nissan altima with ne water pump and thermostat

1. Improper water circulation: Sometimes, eventhough you are sure that you have enough water on your radiator, your car still overheats. It might probably be that the water is cannot circulate properly, which results to improper cooling process. There are several reasons for this which you can discover by yourself. To verify if the water circulates properly, start your engine without the radiator cap. If water circulation is good, you should notice that the water pops smoothly over the top but still retains the amount. Another way to check, detach one of the ends of your radiator hose from your radiator and see if water flows continously over.
If water doesn’t circulates well, check the thermostat if it’s open. It should be open, meaning clean, and the water can pass through it.
If thermostat is clean and still the water doesn’t circulate properly, then you have to check the water pump. That’s probably where the problem is. A little leak on the pump will cause improper flow of water through the radiator system.
If you are sure that the problem is not about water circulation, another thing you can consider is check the engine oil. Very low amount of oil can cause greater friction of the mechanical system of your engine. If it’s not time to change oil yet, you can add over some amount of oil until advisable amount is reached.
While we can’t be always sure about our engine, especially if it’s not new, we should be prepared when it happens. Bringing extra gallon of water in your trunk will surely help.
