I don't know where this relay is however I can make a suggestion, go to ebay motors and order a service repair manual on cd these are great for locating electrical components they have illustrations and schematics that show a x-ray type blown up schematics that shows all electrical components and there locations respective to the body panels, dash, and unibody of the car, the cd service manuals cost between 15 and 20 bucks and have step by step repair procedures and technical bulletins,recalls etc. worth every cent. This should give you more than enough info for this problem.

amplifier is located near where the passenger's right foot would be. Remove the
nut holding the amplifier. Cut the 6 wires connecting to the amplifier about
1" away from the connector. (This way you can reconnect the old amplifier
someday).

It is not there. There is nothing in that kick panel. It should be a four pronged module. I beleive it is somewhere on the passenger side though.
I am looking for the wiper amplifier relay for a 1997 Nissan 200SX. I was told it is in the passenger side right kick panel. There is nothing there.
I have that very thing. It is extremely helpful on most things. The schematic just shows it off to the passenger side. I cannot determine if it is even inside or under the hood.
It is located behind the glove box, if you ever get this question again.
