Oil mixing with Diesel and car emits white smoke.

White smoke should be water
Blue smoke is oil
Black smoke is rich mixture

Try one of the oil leak treatments. It repairs seals.

Depends on the colour of the smoke.
Unlikely an engine will sound healthy emitting black smoke - excess fuel.

An engine could sound healthy emitting white smoke (steam from coolant) but not from white smoke (excess unburned diesel).

Most engines emitting blue or blue-grey smoke from burning engine oil can sound very healthy.

Oil smoke is blue, white smoke is condensation and emits steam on a cold morning, will disappear at operating temp If your car is a diesel, white smoke indicates unburnt fuel

No need to mix oil and diesel since the diesel fuel itself provides lubrication to the internal fuel system parts. If you put oil in the gas tank, expect a huge amount of white smoke from the exhaust pipe until the fuel tank goes empty.

Sounds like it might be a blown head gasket.Check for foamy cream color in oil.

HI do you now the color of the smoke
if engine emits white smoke its not burning the fuel
it could be water mixing with fuel = head gasket even tho you
dot have water in the oil
if engine emits black smoke - that's excessive fuel to air ration
check air filter & air inlet to see if clogged
if engine emits blue smoke - excessive oil consumption

The cylinder head is located on the center of the engine. Yes it can be a worn out head gasket or piston rings. If the piston rings are worn out the oil is burnt that's why it emits white smoke. You will need to replace the head gasket and piston rings.

the white smoke indicates that your getting oil in with the diesel and the oil is burning you might have a bad seal

The best test is a compression test.
Blue smoke means it's burning oil, due to worn out piston rings.
White smoke means it's mixing antifreeze and oil due to a bad head gasket or cracked head or block.
