I have the same problem with my '92 scoupe, I believe it's a problem with the fuel system, where the fuel line looses pressure once the fuel pump is turned off. try checking the fuel pressure when the fuel pump is running, then disconnect the fuel pump from the wiring loom. if the pressure drops, there's probably a leak in the seals somewhere in the fuel system, probably in the fuel pump or pressure regulator
If you have a national auto parts chain store near you (autozone, advanced auto parts, pep boys, etc etc) Have them hook up an obd2 tester to your car and see if any codes come up(they do this for free!!!). If nothing then I would check the ignition switch module inside the steering column, it may be energizing the starter motor but not sending a signal to the ecu that the car is trying to be started.

Does the motor crank and not start or just does nothing when you turn the key?
