I have a 2006 Ram 2500 Diesel. My heater quit working. One minute it was blowing hot air, then next it was blowing cold air. Any ideas what this is or how to find out without spending an arm and a leg?

Low coolant. disconnected or faulty servo to control difference between hot and cold or the heater core could be clogged. if it warms up when reving the engine then it is probably low coolant.

My 2006 Ram 2500 Diesel cab heater blows cold are out the driver's side vents and hot air out the passenger side. I can't get the cab warm in the winter unless I place the heater in recircula

CHECK all the vent hoses, are they connected, no ob strucctions, when the last time you replaced the cabin air filter ? do you have one? look @ your owners manual, also, you may need to have several heater controls, or other control on as well, see owners manual, anything fall into the defroster vents ? replace thermostat @ engine. see how this works for you, good luck

I replaced all my blend doors on my a/c unit. 2006 dodge ram diesel and it's still blowing warm air instead of cold when a/c is on.

Is the compressor engaging under the hood? What are the pressures? Have this checked first and make sure the blend door works that you installed.

2008 ford f250 6.4l diesel, heater works one time when i get in to drive, the next time it just blows cold air, its not overheating, not sure what is going, any ideas?

Feel the heater hoses when it blows cold air--they should be quite hot when the engine is up to temperature. If ok, then either the control center in the dash has a problem or an air-duct vacuum-controlled-valve has a problem with sticking in one position. The truck is too new to have bad vacuum lines, but one may have a kink that is causing a problem. Check around the engine and the dash control panel for a loose or split vacuum line.

2004 Rainier Air conditioning blows cold then hot air.

This is just an idea, but if the a/c is working good, it may be the relay that changes your heater from hot to cold....give it a shot..just an idea....Please leave a good ratin, it is very important to me...
