1995 Toyota Estima. Air Cond stops cooling periodically

1995 Toyota Estima. Air Cond stops cooling, just blows hot air, after a while on long hot drive, then works again for a few minutes. Is there some sort of overheat-cutout?

Why wont the heater blow out hot air in my 1995 pontiac bonneville. it will only blow cool air

If the heater hoses are getting hot, the problem may be a faulty blend door under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

Put a new evaporator in 1995 camry temp gauge went up above normal

If the engine temp exceeds the limit the computer can kill the ac. If the cooling fan stops working the engine temp can go up and also stop the ac from being cold.
Do you know if the cooling fan is working when the problems happen ?

Why does Ac blow warm air when I stop in Toyota sequoia?

The most likely culprit is the condenser fan not working. While driving, air is forced through the condenser fins cooling the condenser and all is fine, but when stopped and the fan is not blowing and you notice the air get warm.
