Heated seats are controlled by a relay only and the power seats are hooked to a relay and a circuit breaker. The breaker is attached inside the fuse block as well with a metal top stamped 20 or 30 amp

Heated seats 95 Cadillac DeVille

  1. Blown Fuse: A blown fuse can prevent power from reaching the heated seat system. Check the owner's manual for the location of the fuse for the heated seats and replace it if necessary.
  2. Bad Relay: A bad relay may also prevent power from reaching the heated seat system. Check the relay for the heated seats and replace it if necessary.
  3. Bad Heating Element: The heating element in the seat may have failed. If this is the case, you will need to have the seat cushion removed to replace the heating element.
  4. Loose Connections: Check for loose connections in the wiring to the heated seat system. Make sure that all connections are tight and secure.
  5. Control Switch Failure: The switch that turns on the heated seat may have failed. If the switch is not functioning properly, it will need to be replaced.
  6. Bad Wiring: The wiring in the heated seat system may have become damaged or frayed over time. If this is the case, you will need to have the damaged wiring repaired or replaced.

The drivers seat won't move and the heated seats won't work on both sides. Where is the fuse?

Check underneath the seat for an inline fuse. It is a glass type fuse in a fuse holder that you have to push and twist to get out.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

2005 Chevy Tahoe, Driver seat will not move and driver heated seat will not heat?

Have you checked the fuse? Look in owners manual for the fuse block and see if the fuse is burnt.

I have a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada...Yesterday all of a sudden my passenger's side window stop working(up and down)...the power lock and the heated seat all stop working on my passenger's side...?

If you have an Owners manual, try looking for a fuse panel diagram. Your could have a bad connection inside the doorpanel which shorted the fuse. The seat drive motor must be wired to a separate circuit coming from the floorboard and its okay.
The circuits are wired independently to protect the lighter wires from the heavy drain of the seat motor. If you had the heated seat function working on the seat at the same time as adjusting the seat motor it would be too much for a single circuit, so they gave you two circuits.

If you are going to work on the door panel, disconnct the NEG battery cable so you won't short out something taking it apart.

Another Repair place you might try is a Glass Replacement shop. They install the inner workings of window tracks daily and remove the door panels to do it. They would be able to find your wires, test your window motor, and get you on your way quickly.

Unlike a Dealership, they have a high turnover of glass installations daily. Some even come to your house to repair your problem. Your car would be repaired more quickly with these services.

Heated, power seats not working

Check wiring under the seat. Frequent habit of pushing things under the seat such as flashlights and tools etc and moving the seat forward and back sometimes pulls wires or breaks them.

My power seat stopped working in my 2003 Yukon XL. The heated seats stopped working as well.

Try this remove the ckt breaker for the power seats the ckt breaker is located in the fuse box inside down by the drivers left foot. leave breaker out for about 10 seconds then reinstall it and see if the seat starts moving. If it does there is a reprogram for this and needs to be done by a dealer or someone who has access to be able to reprogram your vech.
several things could cause your heated seats to not work. If the seat and heated seat seat stopped at the same time could be the reprogram could fix it. If the heated seat quit working at a differant time it could be the seat heater element. get a schematic of the heated seat and ohm the wires for the element. If either element tests open then the element will need to be replaced. You might as well replace both of them at the same time since the seat covers have to come off to replace the seat heaters.(back and bottom ) If one element is bad then both heaters quit working.
