2005 LeSabre, with climate control. The A/C and Heat seem to work fine. However, the fan stop working yesterday. The display on the climate control panel shows the fan to be operating at max (led shows 4 bars), but no air. Located in San Antonio. The last 2 days have had large amount of rain (5-7 inches). I went through a lot of puddles and water, no high water. I pulled the fuse block cover (under the hood), could not determine which fuse to check. Same with block under rear seat. Car has 150,000 + miles. John

Your owners manual will identify the fuse to check. If you don't have the manual, you can get one online at gm. If the fuse is good, check the blower connection for water/corrosion. If connector looks good, check it for voltage from the switch. If voltage is getting to the motor, replace the motor.

SOURCE: max air button does not respond

"MAX" ONLY puts the climate control in the RECIRC mode. Door modes change to " RECIRCULATE" interior cabin air back to be RE-COOLED, instead of using HOT OUTSIDE air to cool. If the problem is in the panel, complete replacement is required. Hope this helps

SOURCE: GM '97 Buick Le Sabre Climate Control flashing display

I did the exact thing with my '98 buick LeSabere. I am certain that the dealer would have to look at the components and relays and fuses. I had problems with Precision tune mechanics telling me there is nothing wrong with the electrical system, even though I still get a Flashing temp gauge and do not get FULL heat even when it's blasted to 90ºf . [Precision Tune got heat on the windshield and floor.] Moreover, the car is possessed with glitches; I am not getting heat on the windshield and the floor is not hot enough to warm the cabin.

1997 buick lesabre HEATER PROBLEMS The fan works fine but it doesn;t heat up. Cold air is always blowing out of the vents

This could be several things. First I would check that the thermostat is not stuck open. This will condition will make the car run cold when it is cold outside.

If this is not the case........and I'm assuming you've already checked that the antifreeze is full, make sure that the heater valve is working. If it is frozen in place then it won't move and won't allow the warm water to circulate through the heater core.

I'm basing my answers on a standard Lesabre. Yours may not have the standard climate control.

My A/C fan will not work always

the fan should be located under the dash on the passenger side. also make sure that the reostat connection is nice and tight this controls the fan speed and sometimes it can come loose due to vibration.
