Too low fuel pressure. Try spraying starting fluid while someone else cranks it. If it runs, you need fuel pump

1993 mazda mpv engine started cutting out and died but wont start again has a charged battery and getting spark. could this be a fuel problem?

You would suspect a fuel problem. the easiest way to diagnose is to disconnect the fuel feed line from the injector rail point it into a suitable container and have someone turn on the ignition. Fuel should squit from hose.

1992 mazda mpv, 6 cyls. it occurs a year ago after tune up. its luck power. during smog test, and now it cranks but wont go through when it start. changed the rotor, spurk plugs and cable

Check your gas for possible water. Just in case try a can of SEAFOAM in your gas. It will take about 10 min of running to work. Also recheck the gap on the spark plugs it should be .044 gap. One other thing to check is the firing order and make sure the wires were put back in the right place to the right spark plug

Some one has probably changed the engine if everything on the net does not match. What is the engine designation that is on the valve cover so we can help you.

Usual Mazda firing order 1 3 4 2 (4 cyl most any make)

2.2L Same

2.6L Same

3.0L (V6) 1 2 3 4 5 6

Won't start because it doesn't fire. Starter and alternator are fine...

the starter and alternator have nothing to do with fire. if the engine turns over but wont run, the stater, battery are ok. there are several things to check, spark to spark plugs? fuel pressure? fuel injector pulse? a shop will need to verify and recommend repairs

97 buick skylark wont start

if starter fluid made it chug, I would suspect fuel pump fuse, relay or pump, also fuel filter.
