Hi i have a 06 accent that will start and tick over but when you go to take off it looses power and chucks and cuts out and might take a half hour befor it will start up again , no engine warning light and no codes present , iv changed coils cam sensor crank sensor , air flow meter and trotle position and trotle and egr valve , please help me it has me baffled , thanks shane

Check the fuel pressure, fuel pump (which is inside the fuel tank), fuel pressure solenoid (if fitted) and fuel pressure regulator (if fitted). Check and replace the fuel filter and check the injector flow rates in case you have clogged or faulty injectors.. I would lean towards a fuel supply issue here so look at the fuel filter and fuel pump first..

Sounds like the timming belt is loose and or a pully is bad. However it could simply be a worn alternator or power steering belt.

it could be your oil pump. they are relatively cheap and fairly easy to replace. replace this first and check again. its a type of engine insurance.

2000 HYUNDAI ACCENT STOPS RUNNING

Hi had a similar problem last week with my 2000 accent took car to dealer who put it on the computer, turned out that the 'mass airflow unit' needed replacing. Very expensive part cost £182 and labour £36 (Hyundai dealer) sorry!!!!

Sometimes cranking but won't fire up

as we say the main causes is CKP sensor but you can't test it in this case because of interments fault of it when hot only
it is electromagnetic sensor have a coil and magnetic core

about ECT
it is electrical thermo resister have tow wire
1st is the ground
2nd is the 5 volt from ECU drop down with temperature increase

cold engine :- the problem in (ECT) engine coolant temperature
sensor or lose fuel pressure ??
hot engine :- (CKP) crankshaft position sensor or (ECT) too
