My 1994 sidekick cutoff on me and would no start. There is electrical power. I noticed before my gas gauge was moving up and down and not staying at one place. Please help. Thanks

Well the first thing i can say is that these clusters do have a bad failure rate , they do go often ,but lets start with the basics first. check the fuses all of them, there is a cluster fuse and i think it is labeled gauges, start with that first.
have a mechanic test the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge
it is more than likely that the electric sender unit has failed and is sticking internally
the tic noise could be a relay working from an intermittent power supply or bad ground
Oh, ok. No, they shouldn't be related. The plug cover meaning the spark plug wire boot that goes over the spark plug hole? Why won't it stay in? Is the spark plug missing? Those plug wires snap onto the spaek plug holding the wire on the plug.. There should be a spark plug in the hole. If not, you probably had it blown out. That happens once in a blue moon. If the plug is missing, get a new one and carefully install it by hand, no rachet. If the plug won't start in the hole the first few threads mat be strippe. Do not cross-thread the new plug. Spark plug hole taps are available at parts stores. good luck
