Further test showed that the Crank Position Sensor was bad. Replaced it and the vehicle was fine.

Changed plugs and wires on a 94 ford explorer and now it 's not tunning right. need a diagram. please.

FIRING ORDERS NOTE: To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement. If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your book to reflect how your engine is wired. 1991 mazda mx6 start ,runs for 15 minutes then shuts off and wont start for a hour later i changed ignition coil ,cap n rotor but no luck

This Sounds Axactly Like A INTERMITTEN IGNITION CONTROL MODULE Problem.
Check for SPARK While The NO START CONDITION is IN EFFECT and if NO SPARK
Replace IGNITION CANTROL MODULE
BUT If you DO Have SPARK then Go to the Fuel System and Start at the FUEL PUMP and EUS a PRESSURE GAGE to Check for PROPER FUEL PRESSURE, Also Fuel FILTER Could be A Candidate NOT VERY LIKELYBut Still Still May at Liest CONTRIBUTE to this Condition. But My Experience POINTS at The Ignition Control Module
