I have a bmw e46 auto and my warning light is a orange cog with a exclamation mark in middle, with this i dont have no reverse or semi auto gears, how can i fix this. thanks

Right above the check engine light ?
Powertrain warning lamp ,is what factory service info calls it .
Powertrain Malfunction Indicator Lamp The powertrain malfunction indicator lamp illuminates when a DTC is registered in the PCM which does not affect exhaust emissions. This lamp will also illuminate if the fail-safe cooling strategy is invoked by the PCM.
Have vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes .

The warning light that you see is for tyres maybe one of your tyres is flat you can check that all the tyres for pressure then you can rest the warning light.

This symbol is for the transmission. You should have the codes read

Sounds like the engine management light, it can be a lot of things why it's come on but don't panic, you need a car code reader to plug into the car to tell you the code of what the problem is , sometimes the fuel cap not being closed properly is very common but you need a car code reader .

the gearbox ecu has spotted and logged a problem. you can either try a ecu reset or get diagnostics done.

may need to have it scanned to check the codes in obd im not familia with this light but a obd scan should tell u what the problem is and where

Could be the brake pad wear light, I forget what it looks like but this is what is sounds like from memory.

This light is for multi funtion automatic transmisson cooling system

that normally means all your fluids need to be changed,
