Heater core replacement on a 2003 ford sport trac

the complete climate control assembly unit is required to be removed in order to remove the heater core. The climate control assembly is attached by studs & nuts which are accessible at the firewall in the engine compartment. The R134 refrigerant will need to be evacuated and the a/c lines at the expansion valve removed in order to remove the climate unit. Hope this helps. :)

Heater switch replacment

Hello! it's my job to make things as easy for the customer as possible...Therefore I must ask why you want to replace the heater switch? Is it because you have lost one or two of the switch speeds? Your vehicle is noted for loss of the Blower Motor Resistor...
Changing the Heater switch means removal of the Climate Control Assembly which is not the easiest of jobs...I've included the process...But are you sure the blower resistor is OK? If you have lost 1,2, or all blower motor speeds it's more than likely the Resistor pack. And a lot easier to change...

Can yyou repkace manual heater switches with digital climate control on 2006 ford focus?

a digital system uses small electric motors on the climate control box so unless u replace all the vent door controls or the entire climite control box and wiring harness it can't be done.

Zx5 2004 ford focus alternator broken

disconnect the battery & make sur you have your radio code, then remove the belt.
it's pretty simple there's a nut in the middle of the tensioner wheel, get the right size socket & using a ratchet, move the tensioner by locking the rathet & do or undo the nut, as it's a fixed nut used to swivel the tensioner.
Then undo the wiring on the back of the alternator, usually a click in multiplug and a + power cable boted on with a 10mm nut.
then remove anything in the way of the alternator securing bolts, & remove the bolt's, alternator should be free !
But I don't suggest you do it yourself unless you have a reasonable grasp of mechanics, as I have had to do this job properly after some people have tried themselves & they've made it worse, plus once the belt's off you have no power sterring so you can't drive it to the garage if you can't get the belt back on !

04 4runner-dash light replacement

Open up the storage area under the climate controls. With it open gently pull upwards on it. It will pop out of place and should slide out with a little wiggling. When that is done, you will see the top of a bolt under the climate controls. I believe it is 10mm. take that out. When that is out you will have to pull on the bottom of the climate control panel. It is all one piece and is held in by clamps so it is kind of tight. Mine took a little work but it came out. If you not comfortable doing it then please dont. I dont want to be the reason some thing breaks. It will come out as one unit. You will need to remove the wiring harness from the back. When that is done just look on the back of the unit and you will see the back side of the bulbs. You will need a little flat head screwdriver. the bulbs simply twist and fall out the back side. this also gives you access to the bulbs for the climate controls if those ever go out.

Rear Climate control console

The rear ac controls have the snaps built in onto the unit. When they installed the overhead dvd they prolly stuffed the ac controls up in the headliner. You will have to replace entire headliner to reinstall the panel correctly. Be cheaper to repair dvd unit, and reinstall over the hole. The front controls in that car are the master controls anyway, you dont have to have the rear ones to make the rear ac work.
