2000 jeep GC limited front axle problems

I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee limited with the quadra drive. I replaced the cv shafts and the hubs but my front tires are not doing anything and it should be 4 wheel drive.. any ideas?

First thing to test is to see if the front driveshaft is getting engaged from the transfer case. With the vehicle in 4x4, and engine shut off, and in park, crawl under and try to turn the front driveshaft by hand. The driveshaft looks like a pipe that runs from the transfer case, located just behind the engine/transmission, to the front differential. If it rotates by hand, there is a problem with the transfer case. Some Jeeps have a vacuum actuator on the front diff that slides a collar inside the axle tube to engage it. I will watch for you findings, and you can leave me another message, and I will be happy to chat back with you on your findings.

95 Jeep Grand Cherokee whole front axle rebuild, now in drive from a stop until about 30mph it makes a large clunking noise why?

If every thing was done correctly, then I would put it on a lift and see where the noise was coming from. You may have bad universal joints or other drive line problems.

In sharp turns, right or left, front end shinmies/shakes. Is this a trnsfer case problem..? Have a 2000 Grand Cherokee with Quadra-Trac

I don't remember what the cut-off year was when Jeep changed from standard universal joints to C/V joints but your problem sounds a lot like a bad end joint on a front axle shaft. "U" joints are "X" type...CV's have a rubber boot covering them. If the boot is torn that also could cause the CV to fail but unless they are really bad generally they get real noisy first before they get to the point of binding.
Only way your transfer case could be doing that is if you have different size tires in the front or rear.
Usually a bad transfer case will make the whole vehicle shudder, even going straight.
If you have X type joints, don't go by how they look... you need to remove them to see if they are binding.

2000 jeep gc laredo 4x4 4.7 auto The front end shakes

if it shakes over 50 miles per hour, it could be your front tires need balancing. and check your ball joints while you are at it. or king pins if it has that. (they are different from ball joints but serve the same purpose.)
