This can be 3 things wrong, either way the inside door trim panel has to be removed to inspect, 1} the glass has broken away from the glue holding it to the frame, 2} the mechanism has lost or has loose bolts holding it to the frame, 3} the mechanism is beyond economical repair and you need to replace the mechanism. Sorry I can't pinpoint it without seeing it, Remember to leave 4 thumbs up for this answer. We try to help as best we can, safe driving.

I install new master window switch on 99 Buick park ave. my old swt. worked, but sometime would not work left window. now left window not work I tried with a jumper wire but nothing works

Generally speaking, if a window motor goes out, it's usually the driver side front, first, because you use it so much. I can't be positive that the motor is faulty? Do the other windows work? In the past, I've removed window motor and laid under the hood, used jumpers wires from window motor to battery for voltage and ground. If the motor won't do anything, it's a good bet, it is faulty. good luck

I remember replacing a lot of power window motors on Buicks, but not a lot of switches.Use a basic 12v test light to verify everything is OK to the motor.

WHY IS MY 1998 BUICK P.AVENUE'S SPEEDOMETER NOT WORKING PROPERLY? WHEN I'M DRIVING AT ABOUT 35mph.IT READS 70mph.ALSO WHY IS THE km/h LIGHT ON AND WHY IS MY HEAT READING DIFFIRENT NOW IT READS IN CELSIUS.

You have your car converted to metric not SAE. Look in your manual it will show you how to change this back to SAE. Usually with the "mode" button you can do this but im not 100% sure on the park ave

I have Buick Park Ave. 1991. Automatic trunck

There is a motor on the bottom latch that goes bad. Make sure that the fuses are all good. They can be found on the driver's side left of steering column. On the cover if you flip it over will have a list of the fuses and what they go too. If they are all good, the motor is most likely at fault.

Windows and locks don't work BUT THE DRIVER'S DOOR in 1999park av

You may have gotten water and/or ice down into the controls in the door. Replacing expensive (several hundred dollars) modules might solve the problem. When the weather wams up it might go away on its own. I avoid opening my windows in the winter now that I know my Park Avenue is susceptible to the problem.

1998 Buick Park Ave wont start

Roll down the drivers side window. Close the door. Turn the key to the On position but not cranking. Let it sit there for ten minutes with the key on. After ten minutes turn the key off and then try to start the car. I hope this helps.

1995 Buick Park Ave. Brake light remains ON and chimes on driving

The problem is the car think the park brake is on (intermittently). I would check the park brake switch, perhaps it's loose, or perhaps the park brake is pushed down to the first "click" spot. Also check the wiring connection to the switch, and the wiring nearby. Good luck!

Power window regulator

Your mech. is right they only sell the regulator assy, have you thought of a wrecking yard? I have had good luck with used regulators, as a rule they last the life of the car. There are many GM years and models that may use that same regulator, the yard can cross reference it for you, you can go on line and find used parts with any search engine, just type in "used window regulators". Good luck
