Why can't you remove the glove box? You can get at the door from under the dash but it's a ***** to do. try lubing the vent cables unless it uses the vacuum motor, if it uses the vac. motor it will be hard to get to without the glove box being out.

all you have to do is open the Glove box and with a short philips screw driver remove the inner screws there are 4 of them two on top and two on the bottom mabe three they change from year to year, next squeeze the inner box out of the hole it will come out. if you need to remove the door the screws are on the bottom of the door remove those screws to remove the door and you are able to ger into the area where the vent control is. If you need more help let me know. And thanks for rating.

Location of heater blower fuse for 94 toyota pickup

this question comes up often ... Fixya could use a better search function. On my 94 from Japan ... you need to remove the glove box (3 screws across top, screw and bolt across bottom) and then the heater and alternator fuses are in a small covered fuse box approximately where the upper passenger side door hinge attaches to body.

Vent Acuator on 1994 Chevy Silverado

I had the same problem and changed it myself. It was a job but can be done yourself. Some call it a Recirculation door actuator, some call it a blend air door actuator. If you look under the dash behind the glove box all the to the fire wall you can see it.There is 2 screws 1-top 1- bottom which you can see easily, the top one you cant see from bottom you have to take out the glove box to see. There is a plug that goes to the actuator, you can actually just unplug it to stop the noise, that will fix the noise and I know some people dont replace the actuator they just leave it like that. I had to go buy a air socket wrench to replace, the smallest one I can find. I wouldnt have done the job without it. Good luck hope this helps. Steve
