are you sure that your car has the correct amount of freon?if it doesn't,this will make the compressor not turn on.if you do have enough,check all of your fuses and make sure you are getting power to the compresser while switched on.i hope this info helps you.take care and good luck, manny
yes there is a blend air door that mixes a/c with the heated air and it sounds like it is out of adjustment the other thing is the heater core could be plugged
if the compressor is loose compression, normally it sounds noisy. then suction pressure is above normal and if you accelerate and maintains that high speed, let say 2000 rpm, the suction pressure goes down to the normal level and cools your air conditioning .
