You have to remove the glove-box and frame to access the cover that hold the 2 cabin air filters in. Remove the 2 filters and remove them from the frames they sit in. Install new filters in the frames and reassemble as needed. Good luck

Change the Cabin Filter on 2003-up Honda Accord

Want to save yourself some money and change the cabin filter on your 2003 and newer Honda Accord? The dealer will charge you up to $120 to perform this simply 5 minute or less repair which should be done every 30,000 miles at the same time you change the engine air filter. It will cost you nothing more than the price of the cabin filter. Go to any local Auto Repair store in your area and purchase a cabin filter for your Accord. I recommend Purolator or Wix filters as they are quality made. The filter is located behind the glove box and unlike some older Honda Accords is very easy to access and no tools are required to accomplish this repair. Simply watch this video I made and you will know exactly how to accomplish this maintenance.

Regarding 2002 honda accord air filter, is that the cabin air filter? any other engine filter existed or not? Thanks! Victor

The air filter will filter the air going into the engine and is located in the engine compartment. The cabin filter filters the are entering the passenger compartment and is located behind the glove box. The other filter would be the fuel filter, It is typically located or mounted on the firewall in the engine compartment.

If you would like more details on any of these don't hesitate to ask!

Does 1995 accord have a cabin filter, and how to change it?

I checked, and could not find a part listing for your year. Apparently Honda began using cabin air filters in the 98 model year of the accord. (that year and newer is, I believe easily accessed from behind the glove box. ( I changed an 04 accord recently, which was easy to replace).
