Sounds like heater core is clogged. Try to flush radiater, keeping heat on high, (set it to hottest heat setting) Buy the good stuff, as for help in selecting, you don't want to have to do it again. Follow instructions to the letter! Only do it when motor is COLD. DO NOT OPEN RADIATOR CAP WHILE HOT!!!

Heater core and blower is not working but still no heat what is the problem

If you have no heat coming to the heater core, your thermostat may need to be replaced. If the engine does not get hot enough it will not open to let water into heater core. This will keep blower from coming on if you have climate control.(about $10) - check your fuses also - if the blower resister needs to be replaced it will keep blower from coming on. It is on the firewall right behind engine on passenger side ( $45 at auto zone). - If you have climate control the panel may need to be replaced. I would check this last because it is almost $1000 new. Get a replacement at junk yard ( I paid $75)

climate control requires the ac to work as well to vary the heat temperature and remove humidity from the cabin air. Check that the ac is working .

Lack of power, hesitation, climate control blowing hot air

Always check body grounds. You may have good power to the engine with a good ground still, but your body grounds control power to all else.

Here can i locate the heat in a 87 voyger

Hi Kutis, Could you give us more information? I believe your referring to the cabin climate heat control. What belt did 'they' change? if was the belt for the AC? If it was I believe you may have the Air Conditioning running on cooling instead of heating? Look at the dash climate controls and you will see one for the AC control. If it is illuminated press the button to disengage it and the heat should work. If it was a different belt we need to know which one was replaced? We also need to know what else was done? Regards John

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

MAKE SURE BLOWER MOTOR OPERATING IF NOT CHECK FUSE AND RELAY.ALSO CHECK HVAC FUSE THIS CONTROL HEATER + AC CONTROL SWITCH AND MODE SELECTION FOR OPENING AND CLOSING HEATER DOOR OR HEATER CONTROL VALVE AND AC+ DEFROST AIR DOOR.IF BLOWER AND HVAC FUSE OKAY.IF YOU HAVE MANUAL HEAT CONTROL MAKE SURE MODE SWITCH IS RECEIVING VACUUM. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE HEATER CONTROL SWITCH AND CHECK TO SEE IF GETTING VACUUM GETTING TO SWITCH LOOK FOR BROKE DISCONNECTED VACUUM LINES IN THE DASH AREA.IF YOU HAVE CLIMATE CONTROL.YOU COULD HAVE A FAULTY ELECTRICAL HEAT DOOR ACTUATOR.SOME CLIMATE CONTROL CARS HAS THE CLIMATE CONTROL PROGRAMMER HAS TO BE REPROGRAM BEFORE THE HEATER AND AC WILL WORK AGAIN.YOU NEED A DEALERSHIP SCANNER TO CHECK IT OUT.BUT IF YOU HAVE MANUAL CONTROL CHECK TO SEE IF YOU GETTING VACUUM.IF YOU GETTING VACUUM AT HEATER DOOR VACUUM ACTUATOR OR HEATER CONTROL VALVE EITHER ONE OF THOSE COMPONENTS COULD BE FAULTY.WARNING YOUR VECHICLE HAS AIRBAGS YOU HAVE TO DISARM THEM BY REMOVING FUSES WAIT 20 MINUTES BEFORE WORKING ON DASH AREA.YOU HAVE TO CRANK CAR UP TO CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR HVAC GETTING VACUUM.
