I have a 2004 toyota avalon and the gas gauge, tachometer and odometer are not working. I know its a fuse problem just wondering which fuse I replace the operators manual is not clear on this.

I just take a 12v test light. the kind that looks like a sharp screwdriver with a bulb in the handle and a wire coming out the back with a clip attached to the wire, and hook the cli[p to some bare metal (which will be ground), then turn the key on and touch the tester to each side of the fuse, to see if the tester lights up on both sides. What I mean by both sides is that on the fuse itself you will see two little spots where the metal comes through and can be accessed with the sharp tip of the tester. there may be fuses that do not light up on either side, dont worry about them they are not going to be the one you are concerned about for this diagnose. but if you run accross a fuse that only lights on one side, you have found a blown fuse.
I hope this helps, and in the future for others.

Odometer, tachometer, speedometer, and gas gauge suddenly stopped working.

Sounds like the body control module has gone bad. It has a relay that caries considerable current to all of these accesories and wears out.
It can also be a solder joint on the circuit board where this relay mounts.
Hope this helps, Robert
