I'm pretty sure these belts go around the fan, you can weave it around the fan blades without taking the fan off. http://i.fixya.net/uploads/images/jturcotte_602.gif

This is more of a question than an answer,..but it appears no one seems to know anything about identifying which serpentine belt to use,..there are two listed for the 2004 Toyota Camry 2.4 liter engine. One belt is designed for engines with the "enhancement" and another belt was designed for 2.4 liter engines WITHOUT the "enhancement" My question here is,..How do you know if your 2004 Toyota Camry has this "Enhancement" installed or not.

The 4runner has 2 possible engines. The diagram below is for a 4.0L (most common).

Click on the following free, direct Link. I realize the Link has "4 Runner, but the 4-Runner and PreRunner have the exact same Engines (2.7L & 3.4L).
The Link has the Timing Belt Diagrams for your 1999 Toyota PreRunner for either the 2.7L DOHC In-Line 4-Cylinder or 3.4L DOHC V6 Engines; including Marks and Instructional Diagrams.

SOMETIMES THE DIAGRAM IS ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOOD. OR ON THE WHEEL WELLS INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. CHECK UNDER THE HOOD ANYWHERE A STICKER COULD BE. IT MIGHT ALSO BE IN THE OWNERS MANUAL.
