Call you mitsubishi dealership and talk with the manger but it sound like it to me the key may have to be reprogram to that switch wish you the best of luck Michigan Man
Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

i first just changed the tumbler and tried to start. theanti theft light started flashing. i then changed the wireing thats connected around the ignitionand the anti theft light went out but i think it already disabled the fuel pump.i'll call a dealed in the morning unless you have anything else i can try.
