My ford focus zetec makes a rattleing noise

spraying WD40 on drive belts is not a good option as it can cause slippage it is better to use silicon spray or ordinary soap, rub the soap on the belt when the engine is stopped,as for the squeak it could well be the tensioner replace it first it may be the cheapest to start with.....hope this helps....cheers

How much would it cost to fit a new alternator on a ford focus zetec 2001

If you can put it on your self, the alternator could run from anywhere from $100.00-150.00 for a new alternator. Call your local auto part store and check the prices. It would cost alot more to take it in.

2001 zetec 2l w/air serpentine diagram

If there is no decal under the hood somewhere, start with the belt around the crankshaft, and then go flats to flats, ribs to ribs. You may have to try a couple of times, but you'll get it.
