loop the main beam to the second light simple ,find the feed with a meter when the main beam is on ,simple to do but be warned here ---make sure the light has a certificate of homoglonation and a E number in the headlight glass or you could face a big fine for unauthorised modification of a motor vehicle ,also this sort of work can only be signed off by a authorised garage with a Value Added Tax certificate and a inspection to change the cars papers at the local car testing station ,or dont drive in spain as they will impound the vehicle

My nissan maxima's headlights go fine on dip and full but when you put them on high beam they just cut off completely any ideas on how to fix this???

Have you replaced the lamps? Most car headlamps have separate elements for low beam and high beam. If both elements are broken, there's your answer. I believe also that the high beams are on a separate fuse to the low beams, so check your fuses to make sure it hasn't blown. Hope this helps!

Is this both the high beams and low beams that do not work ?

If you checked all 3 fuses with a meter ( with the headlamp in Low position for both low beam fuses or in high for the high beam fuse ), the next items to test are the MFS ( MultiFunction Switch ) and the main headlamp switch ( test not look at it ).

Hi All, Got a good one for you here!!! Work this out if you can!!

Did you change bulb to see if that helps? Corroded pins on the bulb? If the relay was faulty it should affect both sides.

My polo main headlights do not work but my full beam does work

Hi, the main headlights work through a separate fuse from the full beam. If all the fuses are fine the problem might be that the globes has blown on the vehicle. To make 100% sure that it is the globes, see if you get power to the headlights when the main lights are switched on.
