1992 Cadillac still Leaking coolant after water pump change.

My 1992 Cadillac is still leaking coolant even after I have changes the water pump and the seals. I have even changed out the seals for the timeing chain and nothing. A friend said that it could be that I have to change out the freeze plugs but I can't find them. I doubt that there are freeze plugs. And if there are where would they be located? Or could it be that I have to change out the thermosat?

Where does the coolant drip from? I had one and only one Cad from this era with the same problem. Turned out to be the recovery bottle cap would let go under operating pressure even though it passed the pressure tester test. Just one of those things.

1998 cadillac deville leaking coolant, temperature was around 196 and when leaking started temperature has gone as high as 225, what is causing this problem?

This most certainly sounds like a water pump issue. The thermostate is located inside the water pump housing and if the pump is bad you'l lose fluids and need to add every day or so. The temp guage will run hot and often the heater won't warm up. You have even notice fluids on the ground below the front passenger side of the car. Try getting a pressure test first before replacing anything. That's a good place to start the diagnosis.

My 2006 charger 3.5 is leaking coolant but only somtimes is it a sign of water pump malfunction no indications on the gauges but car seems to be running hot

this is most likely the water pump if it is leaking at front of engine, the water pump is under the large timing belt cover and driven by the timing belt, so both are changed at the same time.

Leaking coolant

Where is the coolant coming from? It could just be a bad hose, or radiator, or heater core, of even water pump. need more info.

Coolant leaking into engine Compartment

Sounds like a blown coolant hose, or a faulty coolant water pump.
