Wow, GM had a pretty good cruise control system that almost never went bad, so there are no common problems to look for. First, check the fuses associated with the cruise. Next, find the cruise actuator. It will be a cylindrical object about 4" in diameter by about 1 1/2" with a cable running out of it to the throttle body. Ensure that the cable is connected. The next step would be to check the switches that operate it with an ohmmeter or continuity tester. You should be able to find the wiring diagram at www.autozone.com to figure out which wire is which. Hopefully it's just a fuse -- that's about the only thing I've ever seen on GM's. Good luck.
I can send you some trouble trees out of the dealers manual [email protected] send me exact make and model I will send you what you need Monday evening
That's really not enough information to diagnose it. It could be a lot of things, starter, battery, fuel or spark problem. I would suggest you follow the trouble-shooting information in the service manual. You can access a free online service manual for your vehicle at:

0I don't know what you mean by exact make and model. The auto is a 1992 buick le sabre sedan. Please advise.
