Check your seal at the filter. Also if the housing itself is leaking depending on the engine design you may be able to change a gasket between the housing and the engine block and/or the housing. Also on some engines you can replace the threaded stud that comes out that you screw the filter onto. You would have to clean the area and se exactly where the leak is coming from. Then you can determine the next step to take. If this just happened after an oil change check that when the filter was replaced that the old seal was not left stuck on the block. A double seal will leak very badly.

I need to i disconnect engine oil sensor always blinking and beeping.

I would not disconnect it, it saved my engine more than once (although the sensor itself was the leaking culprit). its right in front and fairly easy to get to. Get a new one at parts store or junkyard and replace it.It is located right to the left of the distributor. pull boot back and remove push on connector. Remove sensor with wrench.

Oil leak above the oil filter no one can point the like

Oil leaks can be a pain to locate so I will give you a few tricks I've picked up along the way for locating oil leaks. Start by cleaning/degreasing the area. You want to remove as much of the old residue as possible. Then you can do several things from here.

1. Purchase and oil dye additive (this additive makes the oil glow when a black light i shined on it) and run the engine for a little while then re-inspect with black light to find locations where dye is concentrated.

2. After cleaning, spray the are that you suspect the leak is coming from with a spray on type foot powder(powder sprays on white providing an excellent contrast to trace leak). Run the engine and follow the oil trail to source of leak

How to replace oil filter with new 1 on a 1994 honda civic hatchback

The following procedure explains how to change the oil, and filter.
  1. Before changing the oil, see that the vehicle is situated on a flat surface with the engine warmed; warm oil will flow more freely from the oil pan.
  2. Turn the engine OFF, open the hood and remove the oil filler cap from the top of the engine valve cover. CAUTION
Hot oil can burn you. Keep an inward pressure on the plug until the last thread is cleared, then, quickly remove it.
  3. Place a container under the oil pan large enough to catch the oil. A large, flat drain pan is the most desirable.
  4. Remove the oil drain plug. Allow the oil to drain completely.
  5. When the oil has finished draining, install the drain plug, then tighten until just snug. Use a new washer (if applicable) on the plug.
  6. Move the oil drain pan or use a second pan under the oil filter; the filter retains some oil which may drain when it is removed.
  7. Using an oil filter wrench, loosen the filter by turning it counterclockwise, then unscrew it by hand.
  8. Using a clean cloth, wipe the filter mounting surface of the cylinder block. Apply a thin coat of clean oil to the new filter gasket and install the filter by hand carefully threading it on turning clockwise. Tighten it as much as you can by hand, then use the wrench to turn it an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn.
  9. Remove the drain pan from under the engine. NOTE: Used engine oil is an extreme environmental hazard. Proper disposal of used engine oil is very important. Rather than dumping the oil in storm drains or throwing it in the trash, you should take it to an approved recycling center. Many shops will accept used engine oil. If you are uncertain where to take the oil, many local municipalities can direct you.
  10. Add the correct amount of recommended oil into the filler hole on top of the valve cover. Be sure that the oil level registers near the full line on the oil dipstick.
  11. Install the filler cap. Start the engine without touching the accelerator pedal and allow it to idle. The oil pressure light on the instrument panel should go out after a few seconds.
  12. Run the engine for 1-2 minutes and check for leaks. Turn the engine OFF, then, after a few minutes, recheck the oil level; add oil. Be sure to check for oil leaks. If you find any, correct them immediately.
  13. Recheck and/or refill the engine with oil. NOTE: If the filter leaks, make sure the old filter gasket is not on the mounting flange. If the old gasket is not on the flange, tighten the filter a little more. If it still leaks, try another filter.

Oil leak between oil filter mount and the block

The oil filter may have been over torqued and the rubber gasket has jumped it's seat on the oil filter. Spray down the oil filter mount and engine and look to see where the oil is seeping through the filter when the engine is running. Best thing to do is replace the oil filter. Good luck and hope this helps.

Oil leaking on front right side of the car near oil pan and oil filter

You need to clean the engine and then run the vehicle while watching the area. The most common failure is the oil sending unit located near the oil filter. I have also seen a leak develop between the oil pump housing, which is mounted directly behind the hamonic balencer and the engine block.
