Porsche cayenne passenger door wont open from outside

You will need to remove the inside door panel to get to the bolts for the outside handle. I suggest you get a Haynes auto repair manual for the 2011 Cayenne at your local auto parts store. It has complete details of how to do it!

remove door trim most likely plastic clip holding rod connecting to handle has broken. if not check other ebd of rod at lock mechanism

you have to pull it from the inside twice if it doesnt work there is something wrong more than likely with these things electrical they need to get their act together and find a better auto electrician to build these things they are haunted with electrical problems

renew the gas filled rams that hold it up

Either the passenger side controls are defective,or the actuators on that side. Bring it to a repair shop
removing the control head to test the switches and the actiators are tricky and a pain in the neck. (literately)

Have the system checked for a short ,and a possible, power tap into that curcuit.

I have been hearing and experiencing some sort of reservoir of water swishing around in the passenger side of my 2004 Cayenne. The carpet is soggy and there is evidence of moisture intrusion when I open the doors. There is a film of moisture on around the lower door jams. Of course Porsche is nowhere to be found in this discussion. My beautiful car is now a camel and I can not findc a descent explanation anywhere. Your post is the closest thing I can find. And did the "garage" charge you to extract the five buckets of water? The folks at Porcsche have no idea and no one else has "had" the problem. WTF?

It's likely the fuse. The fuse diagram is in your owners manual. The fuse box is on the side of the dash when you open your driver's door. That should solve your issue.

Now when you say frozen locked is it when you open it from the inside you want to get out because if its that I believe there should be a small switch button on the door near the catch latch (only if you can open this door from outside handel) for a child safety lock switch flick it the other way (only 2 way this switch works lock and open) and it should open from inside (if it wont open from inside and outside then the door handel trigger is either come off the only way check it is open the door cover and look if anythng has come off) hope it give some help
