Question about 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt
Take it to a shop or auto parts store and have them pull the malfunction codes. Auto Zone, Kragen and Advance will do it for free. Disconnecting the battery for a minute or 2 may reset the trans, but be advised it WILL wipe out most of the codes too.
