My 95 Acura Integra wont crank when I try to start it. jumping it does not seem to work. For the last couple of months it would make a clicking noise when I started it. Is this my starter? I have a system with two 12's could it be my battery.

Hi b4 renewing starter ? try this connect a jump lead to the battery negative/earth connector then the other end of lead to a suitable earth point directon engine try starting now if it works ? then problem is the batteries earth connection lead to the engine and chassis/body ? is not good or corroded/loose but by using /bypass earth direct to engine will verify this if above works as you say jump/doner battery does not work ? also check the leads/wires connected to starters solenoid are clean/secure ? this is considering age of car ?

SOURCE: 95 Acura Integra starting problem

This happened to me on a 95 Integra GSR and the entire starter did not need to be replaced, just the solenoid pieces. They get old and worn down and the plunger no longer makes a good connection with them, hence the "click". Replace the solenoid panels and sand the plunger and your good as new. You can find instructions for this on the net, just do a search for it.

I have a 95 Integra ls that has been sitting for a while over 3 months to be more accurate and I am trying to fix it! I changed the oil just put new brakes which it badly needed but now it wont start!

Sparks wouldn't hurt. If it is old and hasn't been serviced in a while it cannot hurt to change them.

Also your fuel pump may be stuffed or clogged.

I have a 2000 Acura Integra LS. The car started this morning and now it wont start. It will turn over and its getting gas, but still wont start up. I put in new spark plugs and still the same result. any...

A few things you may want to try;

1. Clean the cables on the battery, even if they don't appear to have much corrision it doesn't take much to prevent the alternator from charging the battery at it's peak level. When you're finished try to start the engine.

2. If it still will not start, try to find someone to give you a jump. Even if it's cranking it may not be providing the minimum speed needed to allow the engine to start. Having atleast the Minimum, " Cold cranking amps ", required by your vehicle is crucial, especially in cold/cooler weather.
If the vehicle starts with a jump you likely have an issue with your battery. Many parts stores will hook up a diagnostic machine to check your battery, alternator, and some will also check the starter for FREE.

I hope this helps you get your car going.

95 acura integra won't start - i have lights,chimes and instrumentation - it has been making a clicking noise lately, before starting - now, nothing! can you help?

Definitely sounds like it's time to replace the starter. To verify make sure your getting 12v on the small gauge wire at the starter while trying to crank. If you have power at that wire while cranking replace the starter.
