Brake light on the dash board goes on while pushing the brakes

The brake light coming on signifies a low level of brake fluid in the resevoir.Because it only comes on when you push the pedal it's borderline on level. It needs to be topped up and check under the car for leaks. A leaking line is the most common cause of brake fluid. Have you noticed a change in the feel of the pedal lately? Has it gone spongy or hard? Either are a sign of leaking brake lines. Hope this helps.

The fluid is either low or there is a problem in the abs unit itself. check the fluid first. if it is low, prior to filling it up, you will want to look for the leak before you get into an accident.
