To change the temperature reading from C to F (or vice versa), press and hold the recirculation button, then press the off button holding the switch down for 3 seconds or more until an audible beep is emitted. If the battery is disconnected and then reconnected, the temperature reading will revert to C. Turning the ignition on/off will not change the customer's set preference.

    Have a problem with the AC; It will not get cold when the vehicle is stationary. I have taken in three times, they bhave replaced the o rings, evacuated and recharged the system and still the same issue continues. Can anyone help????

    Odds are you've got a corroded pipe somewhere, probably up near the headlights where they run near the aircon rad. You need to get it leak tested IMHO.

Hi welcome main problems are the abs valves causing the 3 dash lights (search 3 amigos online) a really badly sited compressor can cause air suspension models to fail giving the bags a slow leak the V8 is a solid engine but can have radiator expansion tank and cap failures
the other issue is electrics windows and door looms are problematic

for Land Rover Discovery 1999-2004 no more external Fuel Filter serviceable anymore...it's a built-in part with the fuel pump. so if you want to change the filter then change the whole fuel PUMP.

I have bought a 99 land rover discovery and it is overheating

From practical experiences of heavy trucks, this problem is created by poor coolant flow thro' the Radiator Core. Flush cleaning the Rad. or decontaminating the exterior air flowways will not cure the problem. My recommendation is a Recore or after market replacement.

Reset Heating/ AIr cond temp display as well as EXT temp ????

the temp display can be switched between celsius and farenheit readings, since the car is from europe the default is celsius, The manual has instructions on changing back, You have to hold 2 buttons on the display per the manual.
